A new pioneering adventure in Canada's Boreal Forest
WildExodus hosted the inaugural launch and media event this summer. Glamping with WildExodus is a genuine, nature-based, cultural and learning experience; wilderness exploration espousing to the principals of responsible travel and ecotourism. The adventure will provide potent memories, it is a premier quality tourism product that is uniquely identifiable and offers a high level of service. Today's leisure traveler wants to experience more than all-inclusive resorts and the cruise ship buffet. This experience provides a multi-day canoe ride from an adventure camp, sleeping in a tepee or a prospector's tent, climbing a beaver dam or tracking a moose – an adventure that will make leisure time meaningful.

This Season's Promotional Highlights

A first ever, and an acclaimed success, attended by WildExodus promoting it's new offering to the public which was well received locally (see article in Daily Press http://www.timminspress.com/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=1722945).
We also attended the International Plowing Match in Earltown and displayed our stuff in the Ontario Tourism Pavilion. It was a large marketing undertaking which included the release of a new video production and new literature.

What's in the works...
Preliminary details of SSINVEST's proposal for the enhancement of facilities at Wawaitin Holiday Park may be viewed at www.ssinvest.ca/imobilario. Engineering work  is ongoing and once completed and reviewed by the City of Timmins, more details will be made available. As of Oct. 1, 2009, lots 1-18 will be available on a temporary basis only until the end of the season 2011 when the current use is scheduled to be discontinued; lots 33-41 will be available to replace them.

New Signs
Signs have been installed, tell your family and visiting friends to look for our provincial signs on highways 144, 11, and 101. We expect the signage program to be completed next year with the installation of the last 2 signs at Algonquin Blvd. / Cameron St. / Dalton Rd.
